Monitor Set-UP

Most importantly you will need two monitors to be able to follow along with the instructor and do the Excel Exercises.

The reason for 2 Monitors is as follows:

​

On one monitor you will be viewing the instructors screen as they step through each exercise in the curriculum so if you are stuck, you will be able to follow their lead.
 

On the other monitor you will be able to use your Excel spreadsheet and work on the Excel exercises.

Examples of a two monitor set-up:

​

One laptop or PC, with two monitors connected to it with the extend option selected, see the video below.

Two laptops or two PCs with one monitor attached to each computer, or of course one laptop and one PC with one monitor attached to each.

​

One laptop or one PC to use Excel on, your cell phone can be used to view the instructors screen via Xoom.  The Xoom meeting will need to be initiated on your cell phone for this scenario to work.

If you do not have two computers or two monitors as mentioned above, see if you can borrow one for 7 hours, from Family or Friends.
